Dare to DIY

Today I am hanging out over at NewlyWoodwards: Third Annual Dare to DIY, blog party.

Her DIY challenge is: Dare to………………… eat cookies.

We sure do eat a lot of homemade cookies around these parts.

Check out these tasty “calorie-free” cookies.

Disclaimer: they are only calorie-free, because at Christmas, cookies are calorie-free!

Soft and chewy chocolate drops

  • 2-1/2 cups flour
  • 14 Andes mints (or something to that fact)

How you make it:

heat over to 350 degrees, microwave unsweetened chocolate and butter for 2 mins until melted. Stir until chocolate is melted. Add sugar, eggs, vanilla and flour. refrigerate for 1 hour or until dough is easy to handle.

shape into 1 inch balls and place on lightly greased baking sheet or parchment paper.

bake 8 mins or just until set. Break in half an Andie’s mint and place it on top of the warm cookie.  Swirl with a tooth pic after 2 mins
